Juneau Arts And Humanities Council– The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council, incorporated in 1973, is the formal arts agency for the Capital City of Juneau, Alaska. Check the JAHC webpage for upcoming events and fundraisers.


Performing Arts

Alaska Folk Festival– An Alaskan rite of spring held for over thirty years in Juneau. Great music and a who’s who of regional and local musical talent.

Alaska Youth Choir– Mixed Youth Choir for Juneau youths in grades 5 through 8.

Juneau Jazz & Classics– Exciting, soul-lifting, blues-chasing, live music. Held annually each spring in Juneau.

Juneau Lyric Opera– Juneau Lyric Opera provides singing, theatrical and choral opportunities for the people of our community

Juneau Symphony– a volunteer community symphony performing orchestral and chamber music concerts since 1962.

Perseverance Theatre– Founded in Juneau in 1979, Perseverance Theatre has emerged as one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit regional theaters. Producing new works and classics through an Alaskan lens is the hallmark of Perseverance Theatre.
